Terms and Conditions
West Coast Wedding Cars Ltd (hereafter referred to as "the Company") agrees to provide vehicle hire services to the customer (hereafter referred to as "the Customer") under the following terms and conditions:
1. Booking Fees
1.1 A non-refundable booking fee of £100 is required to confirm any wedding car booking. This fee must be paid via online banking within 24 hours of the Company providing payment details. The booking is only secured once payment has been confirmed by the Company via written communication. The Company will not reserve booking slots without receipt of the booking fee.
2. Payment of Remaining Balance
2.1 The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than one month prior to the commencement of the hire. Payments are to be made via online banking, and confirmation of payment must be sent to the Company.
3. Damage to Vehicle
3.1 Any damage caused to the hire vehicle by the Customer or their party will result in the immediate termination of the hire without a refund. The Customer will be liable for all costs incurred, including the cost of repairs and any loss of business as a result of the damage.
3.2 The individual who books and pays the booking fee is fully responsible for the hire and all related costs.
4. Vehicle Breakdown or Faults
4.1 In the event of a vehicle breakdown or mechanical fault, the Company reserves the right to provide an alternative vehicle at the agreed hire price. If necessary, the Company may subcontract another company to fulfil the hire, ensuring the service proceeds as scheduled.
4.2 In urgent cases, particularly last-minute vehicle changes, the Company may not be able to inform the Customer in advance.
4.3 If a breakdown occurs during the hire, the Company will make every effort to either provide an alternative vehicle or arrange another company to complete the hire. Should this not be possible, alternative transportation will be arranged to ensure the Customer reaches their destination.
5. Changes to Fleet
5.1 The Company reserves the right to replace or upgrade vehicles prior to the Customer’s hire date. In such instances, the Customer will be contacted and, where possible, provided with an upgraded vehicle at no additional cost.
6. Disclaimer of Liability
6.1 The Company shall not be held liable for any costs, damages, or losses incurred by the Customer due to unforeseen factors beyond the Company’s control. This includes, but is not limited to, emergency road closures, delays that affect timely arrival, or missed wedding slots.
6.2 The Company does not supply or sell alcohol. However, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages such as Shloer and Fruit Shoots will be provided for both adults and children if requested.
7. Hire Duration
7.1 The hire period commences from the agreed collection time, not the time the Customer enters the vehicle. For example, if the collection time is set for 1:00 PM, the hire period starts at 1:00 PM. Punctuality is required, as other bookings may follow.
8. Passenger Capacity
8.1 The vehicle’s passenger capacity will be communicated to the Customer prior to booking. Under no circumstances may this capacity be exceeded. Each individual in the vehicle, regardless of age or size, is counted as one passenger.
9. Agreement
9.1 By proceeding with the booking and paying the booking fee, the Customer agrees to these terms and conditions, which form a legally binding contract between the Customer and the Company. It is the responsibility of the Customer to review these terms prior to making a booking.
